Event: 1 Collaboration with University of Portsmouth for Education Excellence in Ravi City

By having a high-level conversation with the top leadership team of the University of Portsmouth, RUDA made a big step towards improving educational possibilities in Ravi City. The goal of the discussions, which were facilitated by notable individuals like Dr. Jacqueline Priego, the interim associate dean, and Bobby Menta, the pro vice-chancellor, was to build a research university in Ravi City. Analysing Pakistan’s educational market, determining course demands, and investigating cooperation with regional partners were among the main subjects. The University of Portsmouth indicated a significant desire to collaborate with RUDA, indicating that Ravi City students will have many chances in the future.

Event 2: Glasgow Consulate Meets with Strategic Investors

Prominent business and community leaders attended a successful Investors’ Meetup hosted by RUDA at the Glasgow Consulate. With an emphasis on how strategic investments can stimulate growth and innovation, the event enabled conversations on investment prospects in Ravi City. Business executives including Ms. Janet Forbes and Mr. Nasir Jaffri, MBE, as well as Mr. Rana Summar Javed, the Consul General of Pakistan to Scotland, were among the distinguished guests. Potential collaborations that could help Ravi City become a significant investment hub in the future were made possible by this meeting.

Event 3: Conversations with Blue Energy Inc. about Sustainable Development.

Mustafa Asim, a significant member of the Scottish Business Network, represented Blue Energy Inc. at a meeting with RUDA to discuss sustainable growth in Ravi City. Talks centred on building hospitals, finding commercial partners for affordable housing, and putting wastewater treatment systems into place. The group also looked at possible funding from the World Bank and IMF, reaffirming RUDA’s dedication to sustainable development in Ravi City through successful global partnerships.

Event 4: Gathering with Glasgow Caledonian University and Edinburgh Napier University

Through conversations with Glasgow Caledonian University and Edinburgh Napier University, RUDA achieved significant strides in its educational endeavours. In collaboration with Edinburgh Napier, RUDA investigated the possibility of creating a top-tier educational establishment in Ravi City. Forecasts of student enrolment, possible local collaborations, and market analysis were discussed at the meeting. Similarly, a session with Glasgow Caledonian University focused on the demand for specialized academic programs and building an innovative educational environment. Both universities expressed strong interest in joining hands with RUDA, marking a significant milestone in Ravi City’s transformation into a knowledge hub.

Event 5: Discussions with Evrensel Global Water Resources on a Partnership

To investigate sustainable water management options for Ravi City, RUDA met strategically with Evrensel Global Water Resources. The construction of a wastewater treatment plant in Ravi City was the main topic of discussion, which was facilitated by Brian Shea, Chairman of Evrensel, and Kashif Qureshi, Executive Director of Commercial and PPP for RUDA. Modern water management technologies will be implemented as a result of this partnership, greatly advancing Ravi City’s sustainability objectives.

Event 6: Manchester Metropolitan University’s Engagement with the Education and Energy Sector

Through a fruitful meeting with Manchester Metropolitan University, which included talks with Dr. Ali Kashif Bashir and Waseem Malik of ECO ENERGY Rating Ltd, RUDA increased its partnerships in the energy and educational sectors. The goal was to create an educational ecosystem in Ravi City that included technical consulting, IT lab sets, and models of cooperation with other universities. Additionally, investment opportunities in Ravi City’s energy sector were explored, highlighting RUDA’s multi-sector growth strategy for the project.

Event 7: Consultation with the High Commissioner of Pakistan to the United Kingdom

H.E. Dr. Mohammad Faisal, Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the UK, had a fruitful discussion with Brig. (R) Mansoor Ahmed Janjua, Chief Operating Officer of RUDA. The conversations focused on how RUDA has revolutionised the growth of Ravi City and how crucial it is to obtain Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) for its continuous projects. In expressing his support, the High Commissioner linked this partnership to Pakistan’s larger “Pathway to Prosperity” plan, which aims to advance Punjab’s economic development and progress.

Event 8: Examining Strategic Alliances in the Business Community of Manchester

Mr. Kashif Qureshi, the Executive Director of RUDA, oversaw a number of strategic talks with the business community in Manchester, which included gatherings with Corner Stone Property Group and Profound Consultants Ltd. The conversations centred on establishing solid ties with global players and investigating investment prospects in Ravi City. Prominent individuals who attended the meetings, including Councillor Abid Chohan and Member of the European Parliament Mr. Afzal Khan, demonstrated their strong support for RUDA’s mission. The discussions reaffirmed RUDA’s commitment to luring in foreign capital and developing strategic alliances in order to quicken Ravi City’s development.

In addition to these meetings, RUDA management signed an MOU with a number of well-known Pakistani marketing and real estate firms for upcoming projects.
